As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the development and effective implementation of marketing and promotional strategies for the positioning of the property as highly desirable to its identified target markets and within the parameters set by the company. In addition, overlook the day-to-day operation of the department together with associated tasks and duties as assigned by the Cluster General Manager especially for the assign market segment.
  • Design and implement appropriate marketing strategies in order to ensure the effective strategic positioning and viability of the company.
  • Develop new marketing tools and concepts depending on the hotel strategies.
  • Increase the profile of the properties through the development of a network of sponsors, stakeholders and patrons
  • Provides after \xe2\x80\x93 sales service and in particular to ensure all guests comments are taken seriously and discussed with the respective department if necessary.
  • Expose the properties to a broad, representative and sustainable client base at local, national and international levels
  • Execute a market segment plan that encompasses objectives, strategies, tactics and control.
  • Handle data base of the hotels and keep in it up to date and use it for promotional purposes.
  • Liaise with the PR agency to ensure effective communication is maintained in line with marketing strategy.
  • Fully understand the Marketing and PR requirements, and the required budgetary guidelines. Fully accountable for effective communication and delivery of marketing and PR Strategies for hotel facilities and services. Identify marketing programs to support the hotel marketing plan.
  • Establish effective relations with agencies to devise and maximize publicity materials (printed and online collaterals, radio campaigns, advertising, etc.)
  • Assist the Sales Department with any promotional material that may be appropriate for marketing sectors.
  • Develop and deliver marketing strategy for the properties and any venue/ outlet managed by the hotel, plan and manage its implementation. Liaising closely with key stakeholder (General Manager, Sales Team, Graphic Designer and Department Heads).
  • Source sponsorship from various companies, banks, airlines, etc. for promotions and partnerships
  • Handle the properties branding during exhibitions, that the company is participating, in addition to initiating and organizing events
  • To establish in conjunction with the General Manager and respective Heads of Departments Hotel Annual Marketing plan.
  • To administer and set marketing budget and to maintain the expenditures within the prescribed limits as approved by the General Manager.
  • To direct and coordinate all marketing activities and to communicate these activities throughout the hotels.
  • To ensure that all Departmental Operations Manuals are prepared and updated annually.
  • Develop, review and post social media content including image and video conceptualization and caption copywriting.
  • Monitor and manage activity and engagement on social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, while developing appropriate and timely responses.
  • Represent hotel by attending social and culinary events, onsite and/or offsite, to capture social media content where appropriate (evenings and weekends may be required)
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the same role in 5 stars brand hotels.
  • Must have the experience in the local market.
  • Fluent writing and Speaking in English
  • Career and results oriented with the ability to be flexible with hours, days off, assignment and additional duties.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Must be strong team player with proven leadership, development and delegating skills.
  • High guest service skills, with the talent, knowledge and the vision and ability to lead colleagues to excellence.
