Job Description

The Marketing Manager is an 'creativity-freak' who report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. Responsible for developing and implementing our Marketing Plan and Social Media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts. Develop a good and long-lasting working relationship with tourism and community leaders.

  • Create and manage annual marketing activation plan/calendar focused on driving business into low and shoulder seasons while enhancing the guest experience during peak seasons.
  • Execute marketing tactical campaigns, partnerships, programs and activations supporting the hotel.
  • Create a content strategy for the website, social media platforms & email communications in coordination with Marketing Agency (if on board).
  • Manage and oversee social media content and measure the success of every social media campaign.
  • Plan and communicate marketing plans and activities with stakeholders (GM/HM/DOSM/RM/DOF/FOM).
  • Support PR, social media and digital media strategies.
  • Grow and expand company social media presence on platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Attend key operational meetings to ensure alignment with all hotel stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties deemed necessary by management to support the organization.
  • Carry out regular checks of all sales, marketing and revenue distribution channels for hotel positioning, price parity, information accuracy and competitor positioning.
  • Actively engage with hotel guests to build loyalty and repeat guest ratio.
  • Liaise with the stakeholders to market and promote Food and Beverage offerings in order to generate the revenue and awareness.
  • Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time with a strong focus on revenue maximization and profitability.
  • Participate in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Fully understand and comply with all 'statutory' trainings, protocols and operational procedures mandated by UAE Government.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • An outgoing personality with a flair for creativity, people and social media.
  • Degree or equivalent required in Business/Hotel Management with major in Marketing, Advertising & PR.
  • Minimum 2-years' experience working as Marketing/Brand Manager preferably in an upscale, lifestyle hotel.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills influence a wide variety of audiences/ stakeholders.
  • Proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Prologic, Service One, Adobe Photoshop, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.
  • Experience with Social Media Management, Content Creation, Graphic Designing is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
  • Professional fluency in English (written, verbal and spoken)
