Job description / Role You will aim to maximise profits through developing sales strategies that match customer requirements and by promoting products, services or ideas. Marketing executives develop and oversee marketing campaigns to promote products and services. What is in it for you: - Work with a diverse group of heartists - Be a part of Accor prestigious team - Start your career with us and advance further your opportunities - Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwide - Learning programs through our Academies - Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world! - Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 What you will be doing: - Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies - Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events - Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures - Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication - Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.) - Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities - Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance - Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses Requirements Your experience and skills include: - Proven experience as marketing executive or similar role - Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods - Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices - Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM) - Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. WebTrends) - Excellent communication and people skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Creativity and commercial awareness - BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline - Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times - Highly responsible & reliable - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required - Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Your team and working environment: - On the waterfront on a man-made island in the Arabian Gulf, this upscale resort is 9 km from the Al Hamra Golf Club and 38 km from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
