Support the Marketing Manager in the on-going development and delivery of the Commercial Operations two-year Marketing Strategy from a design and communications perspective.
Develop and deliver the annual B2B and B2C marketing and communications plan (printed campaigns, brochures, leaflets, email newsletters, features etc).
Delivering tailored content to varied and targeted audiences.
Project manage design and communication development projects including brand and style guides, design refresh, customer journey and CRM implementation.
Collaborate with the Marketing Executive (Digital) to ensure a cohesive customer journey across all touchpoints.
Content, communication and designCopywriting, design and content:
Develop and adapt key messages for a variety of internal and external audiences, translate into engaging marketing and communication assets including printed literature and digital channels.
Write clean and accurate copy to tight deadlines across a range of printed and digital materials including brochures, adverts, newsletters, emails, blogs, news features etc.
Work closely with the Marketing Executive (Digital) to ensure website content is up to date and accurate.
Prepare comprehensive design briefs and work with external suppliers and graphic designers to produce all marketing and communications materials (brochures, adverts, leaflets etc).
Lead on ongoing development and improvement projects to maximise engagement and leads.
Lead on the production of engaging video and photography content to support all stages of the customer journey.
Create, review and edit all communications materials.
Manage and update on-site signage requirements during operational periods, including guest information and directional signage each year.
Act as brand guardian, providing advice and guidance to colleagues as required.
Manage appropriate compliance and standards ensure content is produced to a high standard, adhering to brand guidelines, tone of voice and messaging.
Internal and external communications:
Manage the ongoing communications schedule including: internal and external comms, newsletter, emails, print ads, trade shows, printed and digital literature, to drive engagement, increase leads and conversions.
Manage effective external and internal marketing and communications, dynamic content and ensure consistency with digital comms channels.
Collaborate with the Business Development Executives and Group Executives to support client engagement, drive repeat business and retention initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with industry press and trade associations, responding to requests as required whilst proactively seeking PR opportunities.
Collaborate with the Product and Revenue Specialists to adapt marketing plans according to current inventory, product and pricing offers.
Working with Business Development Executives to identify appropriate trade exhibitions, shows and networking events. Organise attendance, deliver pre and post-attendance communications and promotional literature.
Analysis and reporting:
Together with the Marketing Manager, establish key metrics and KPIs.
Identify tools and methods to evaluate campaign performance.
Conduct audience and market research as required.
Deputize for the Marketing Manager where necessary.
Support the Marketing Manager in the development and management of the annual marketing budgets.
Keep up to date with industry trends to identify areas for development.
Manage relationships with external suppliers.
Act as a brand ambassador for the division and support the Marketing Manager in building awareness of Commercial Operations activity.
Requirements:
Hold a degree level qualification or equivalent, preferably with a marketing or communications related qualification.
Experience of leading multi-channel marketing and communications plans including printed campaigns, brochures, leaflets, email newsletters, features etc with demonstrable ROI.
Significant experience of writing engaging copy for a variety of B2B and B2C audiences.
Experience of working with journalists and media agencies to secure PR
opportunities.
Experience of preparing comprehensive design briefs and working with external agencies and graphic designers to produce creative communications materials.
Experience of developing and delivering engaging email campaigns to generate and nurture leads.
Experience of using analytics and reporting tools to produce marketing performance reports.
Experience in commissioning video and photography.
Experience of nurturing effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Experience of leading brand and design review projects.
Experience in a B2B hospitality and/or education setting.
Experience using a CRM system.
Experience of managing budgets.
