Job Location - Crowne Plaza Duqm is 8kms from the town centre and 600kms from Muscat, the hotel offers comprehensive business facilities with the interpretation of Omani architecture. This hotel features 213 deluxe rooms and suites overlooking the scenic coastline, a fully equipped fitness centre with kid’s and adult's pools, a choice for conference and meetings, and also features two ballrooms, etc.
Your day to day
Assist in planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns.
Using the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications • Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.
Understanding the product as per IHG brand standards
Monitoring ongoing campaign spending against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.
Producing an accurate summary of total spending at the end of a marketing campaign.
Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met
Create awareness of and develop the brand you're marketing
Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
Support the Sales manager in delivering agreed activities
Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) to enhance audience engagement
Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
Maintain and update customer databases
Conduct market research, for example, using customer questionnaires and focus groups • Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external. Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
What we need from you Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management desired, and a minimum of one year of relevant Sales experience in Hospitality or related service industry. Expected to possess the following skills:
In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
Strong knowledge of hotel products, rates and marketing programmes
Excellent PC skills (including MS Office)
Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders
