Role Purpose:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for driving the franchise brands marketing strategy of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, building internal and external brand equity, capitalizing on customer insights, leveraging advanced analytics, integrating marketing capabilities, and positioning the business through diverse channels of customer interface.

  • Formulate and drive MAF Lifestyle Brand and Marketing strategy in line with overall business strategy.
  • Direct the strategy for Customer Insight, informing business decisions with relevant customer information, perceptions, shifts and trends.
  • Ensure the Marketing strategy supports the Omnichannel of the organization.
  • Leveraging advanced analytics and the MAF eco-system to support the brands and drive customer segmentation.
  • Support the brand image build of the individual brands, keeping the sanctity of the brand and the Majid Al Futtaim persona at the core.

  • Develop and implement communications plans to increase Brand awareness and recognition of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle franchise brands \xe2\x80\x93 in alignment with Majid Al Futtaim corporate Brand and digital strategy.
  • Lead the various Marketing verticals, giving guidance and direction to ensure synergies and focused outcomes of all internal and external communication.
  • Oversee creation, consolidation and implementation of annual marketing plans and calendars for online and offline activities for MAF Lifestyle businesses.
  • Guide and hold accountable the various marketing teams providing support to the business for events, activities, and content management.
  • Liaise, align and manage brand principal marketing partners ensuring optimal brand reporting and relationship building
  • Assess, hire and manage agency partners and
affiliates
  • Owner of the Marketing &
Communications budget for MAF Lifestyle franchise brands.
  • Responsible for ROI of all Marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to sales revenue augmenting sell-through, via marketing efforts supporting the business.


  • Liaise with the IT Department & Corporate brand and Communications teams to implement projects and initiatives across all channels / brands.
  • Ensure appropriate and significant utilization of PR and communication channels to promote the organization and position the brands for MAF Lifestyle.
