Role Purpose:
  • To role of the Associate Marketing Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Leisure and Entertainment will assist in all aspects of marketing for the Leisure and Entertainment brand portfolio across the region. This includes supporting with all brands marketing strategies, assisting in conceptualizing marketing calendars and promotional campaign plans and the execution of all plans, internal and external stakeholder relationship management and marketing administration and reporting to ensure a successful roll-out of marketing campaigns, offers and promotions across all Leisure and Entertainment brands.

Role Details \xe2\x80\x93 Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Planning, Delivery and Support:
  • Supports the strategic direction and implementation of marketing campaigns and promotions and deriving insights from analysis to build customer relationships and improve brand\xe2\x80\x99s market position and impact.
  • Assesses the impact of marketing programs and develops innovative campaigns to drive brand recognition and growth.
  • Assists in the creation of marketing plans and manages the execution of the plans to increase brand awareness for Leisure and Entertainment brands across the region.
  • Conducts market research and analysis to understand our competitors and customer preferences.
  • Retains marketing metrics and results of campaigns in order to optimize future campaigns or promotions and identifies opportunities for growth.
  • Oversees and manages campaigns from planning to completion stage, ensuring that team members meet deliverables and timelines.
  • Manages relationships with the social and design agencies to ensure that project deliverables are cohesive and in line with brand guidelines and the business goals and objectives.
  • Ensures content, images, and other graphical elements are in line with requirements before seeking final approvals.
  • Assists in developing effective media campaigns and choosing appropriate distribution channels.
  • Participates in organizing promotional events to positively present Leisure and Entertainment brands.
  • Supports the implementation the annual marketing and communications plan including but not limited to public and media relations, content creation (online and offline), social media and engagement, crisis communications, features and analysis.
  • Serves as brand ambassador, managing and leveraging off internal marketing teams to drive awareness, demand, and audience engagement.
  • Develops relationships with key media platforms online and offline, organize barter deals to minimize advertising costs and keep the LEC brands competitive.
  • Prepares monthly marketing reports and post campaign reports and identifies areas of improvement.
  • Prepares monthly card tracker reports.
  • Records and tracks marketing related spends and LPOs.
  • Manages relationships with the mall marketing teams and within the wider MAF eco-system.
  • Maintains and protects all Leisure and Entertainment brands image.
  • Manages all aspects of supplier management.
  • Manages requirements and requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Maintains and manages the monthly audit of gift vouchers where applicable and when required.

Definition of Success:
  • Achievement of business revenue and EBITDA targets
  • Assist in the delivery and execution of annual marketing calendars
  • Assist in tracking budgets

Functional/Technical Competencies:
  • Must be a creative thinker with a complete understanding of the marketing mix and the role each marketing channel plays in achieving overall business objectives.
  • Must be a proactive marketing leader.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of maintaining brand standards.

  • Arabic language is preferred.
Minimum experience:
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of marketing experience, either within an in-house marketing department or working for an advertising and marketing agency.
  • Experience of working in a marketing team within leisure, experiences and attractions a plus
  • Broad marketing experience with an eye on current and online trends.
Minimum Qualifications/education:
  • Graduate in business or marketing discipline.
