Job Summary

SC Ventures is building an integrated B2B marketplace that will transform how SMEs trade, access finance and grow their business, co-created with leading institutions in the UAE called HAL. This role requires the incumbent to develop marketing plan and strategy leading up to the official launch of HAL and the ongoing marketing activities beyond the launch.

We are a global team of "core members" (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group's support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, London, the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

Manage the Marketing workstream for HAL in co-ordination with SC Ventures Brand, Marketing & Communications Team specifically. Build the marketing strategy for HAL leading up to its commercial launch and the promotions post the launch. This includes making the marketing plans for each stage (e.g., agency recommendations, reviewing brand strategy etc.)

Business

Building comprehensive marketing plans - for both launch and ongoing marketing; inclusive of brand building, campaign execution and customer acquisition/sales plans Aligning with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring HAL brand strategy and name development align with the group's corporate & brand & marketing strategy

Processes

Work closely with Product and Sales Head along with CEO providing regular updates to key stakeholders on progress related to marketing plans, highlighting early any risks and opportunities

People & Talent

Support an open environment to stimulate creativity and develop innovative solution to support HAL. Maintain an appropriate tone in collaboration with SC Ventures and group partners.

Risk Management

Continuously evaluate agency roster to ensure that right agencies are onboarded while accommodating within the budget requirements

Governance

Ensure compliance with all SCB and venture governance frameworks. Manage the function within budgetary constraints, seeking operational efficiencies

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
