Your Opportunity
Support in delivery of Serco Middle East\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and communications strategy, across internal and external communications in Serco\xe2\x80\x99s key sectors and target markets. This role will focus heavily on internal communications, working closely with divisional departments to communicate effectively internally, managing the internal communications calendar and supporting in the organisation of the annual leadership conference and Pulse Awards ceremony.
In addition, this role would have responsibility for social media \xe2\x80\x93 content creation and posting, to raise brand awareness and positioning within key markets whilst representing a strong employer brand.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker. They will be a confident, articulate communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to reach different audiences and all levels of seniority. This role would suit someone who is self-disciplined, able to work to tight deadlines and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Key Accountabilities Create, manage and execute a structured and clear Internal communications programme in SME whilst promoting Group Initiatives Writing and editing internal communications Briefing the creative design team on graphics needed to support communications Manage and keep up to date annual events calendar, supporting in the management of external events, speaking slots and exhibitor slots. Inclusive of supporting campaigns and collateral. Social media management and content creation to boost engagement, EVP and brand awareness Support in management of annual leadership conference and Pulse Awards Support in maximizing external positioning and exposure of Serco specifically in KSA & the UAE, aligned with the defined strategy. Support in management of external PR agency to ensure successful execution and monitoring of campaigns.
Specific Requirements
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in marketing, journalism, business or similar A minimum of 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a marketing role Understanding of different communication platforms and methods. Knowledge of digital channels and social media Excellent English writing skills Ability to manage multiple competing priorities within own workload effectively Highly competent in MS Office software Adobe suite experience preferred
