MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

Marketing and Communications Executive will be responsible to establish and drive multi-channel marketing initiatives. Identify and analyse target markets, social & digital trends to implement new strategies. The candidate will be involved in 360 Marketing, PR, media relations, assisting the team with managing and growing digital platforms, social channels, and driving business whilst understanding and complying with the policies and procedures of the hotel.

Main responsibilities and duties include:

MARKETING:
  • Managing coordination of marketing and communications activities to leverage results
  • Copywriting for marketing projects related to rooms, F&B, Conferences and Events and Spa etc
  • Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of marketing, communications and digital campaigns with monthly reports
  • Monitor all offers and keeping a track of their validity and effectiveness by ensuring all offers are communicated to the relevant departments
  • Briefing creative agency, designers or suppliers and managing the workflow
  • Making sure that all information about the hotel, F&B outlets and other hotel facilities mentioned in all channels (print and online) are correct and up to date
  • Identify and execute Marketing Partnership opportunities with right brands and entities
  • On property Communications & Marketing support (be present filming and photo shoot activity \xe2\x80\x93 both internal and external, conducting site inspections when required)
DIGITAL:
  • Provide ongoing social media support, both technical and editorial, as directed by Director of Marketing and Communications and Director of Digital Marketing
  • Assist and monitor influencers and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
  • Create monthly Social Media content plan for offers, events, and happenings
  • Daily social media community management and respond to mentions and messages
  • Support the Director of Digital Marketing in research, analysis and recommendation of most appropriate digital marketing activities
  • Support in e-mail marketing related activities
PR/COMMUNICATIONS:
  • Keep Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s Press and Media Kit up to date at all times
  • Ensure media and partners lists are accurate, updated and well maintained
  • PR & Media Relations, Influencer Engagement
  • Assist in creation and distribution of press releases to targeted media/media agencies (both directly or via PR Agency)
  • Ensure press material, image library, third-party websites etc. are updated and accurate
  • Assist Handling media inquiries and interview requests and respond to enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations
  • Monitoring competitor activity on press and online
The ideal candidate should possess the below qualifications and competencies:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing or Business
  • Highly organised, outstanding communication skills and great attention to detail are key qualities to success in this role
  • Technical competence in graphic design, development and production
  • Photography & Videography skills are a plus
  • Excellent, both as communicator & listener when dealing with guests, journalists, suppliers, trade partners and equally with colleagues
  • Production planning and project management skills
  • Understanding of design programs such as the Adobe Suite. (Essential)
  • Strong proficiency on Microsoft Office. (Essential)
  • Outstanding English skills in written and verbal language. (Essential)
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and knowledge of best practices and latest trends in social media marketing
