(BLME0178) ABU DHABI ABOUT THE ROLE The marketing and Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the marketing, communications, business development, and fundraising efforts of ADMAF and the Abu Dhabi festival. This position will work closely with the Executive Manager for Marketing and Communications and the senior management team to develop and implement marketing and business development strategies that increase brand awareness, drive Ticket sales, engage audiences, expand the institution\'s reach, foster partnerships, and generate revenue. The Marketing and Business Development Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of marketing, communications, and business development professionals and collaborating with external partners and suppliers. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans that support ADMAF\xe2\x80\x99s mission and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Executive Manager for Marketing and Communications and the senior management team to identify target audiences and develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about ADMAF and drive qualified traffic to those audiences.
  • Manage all the marketing and communication initiatives for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s programs.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Oversee ADMAF and Abu Dhabi Festival\xe2\x80\x99s social media accounts and websites, ensuring that all content is on-brand and engaging to target audiences.
  • Collaborate with external partners, agencies and suppliers, including graphic designers, social media agencies, videographers, and public relations firms, to develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay-per-click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis.
  • Manage ADMAF and Abu Dhabi festival\xe2\x80\x99s database, ensuring that all communication is personalized and tailored to specific segments of the stakeholders.
  • Oversee event planning and execution, including managing branding, ticketing, guest lists, coordinating with partners and other departments, and supporting event logistics.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts, using data to make data-driven decisions on future strategies.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget quarterly and annually and allocate funds wisely.
  • Develop and implement business strategies that maintain existing sponsorship and increase the potential for new sponsorship.
  • Oversee all sponsors & partnership development functions and resources, ensuring that all functions are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Compare the current offering with different business models and current trends and review the current practice and strategy with the Executive Manager of Marketing and Communications and the Executive Director, with the aim of maximizing the value of the offering.
  • Manage and extend a porolio of client relationships, designed to generate new income growth.
  • Identify and develop new relationships and opportunities for corporate support.
  • Provide support and direction in existing high-value relationships.
  • Research of marketplace for sponsorship, both competitive and business development; research and target companies to develop new prospects.
  • Recommend a strategic approach to the identification of new corporate prospects and instigate and develop relationships with new sponsors.
  • Within agreed guidelines, to instigate and conduct negotiations with companies in the creation of unbudgeted strategic projects.
  • Create, prepare and promote immaculate proposals and sponsorship packages for ADMAF & ADF projects, presenting tailored solutions where required.
  • Match projects and packages to client needs and tailor existing packages as required to ensure successful sales of ADMAF and ADF packages, including sponsorship and hospitality programmes.
  • Develop a good understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital marketing and the use of metrics, and incorporate this in the design of proposals and packages.
  • Prepare sponsorship contracts and letters of agreement for sponsors.
  • Work to best practice methods, for data gathering and provide detailed analysis on key sponsorship success metrics, including digital marketing.
  • Liaise with corporate and business clients to deliver and service the programme of benefits according to the terms defined in the contract; in particular supervise and organise the sponsor\'s hospitality arrangements and marketing and PR benefits, by liaising with relevant departments.
  • Identify relevant information from our corporate and business clients to ensure responsive service delivery and assist the ADMAF production and administration with data flow for updating the corporate records on our database as well as feeding into the Events Diary. This is to include holds on tickets and hospitality spaces and sponsorship credits on marketing materials and publications.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required in and above the position.
  • Execute and monitor functions, goals, objectives and programs of sponsorship development.
  • Update senior management on the progress and status of sponsorships and coordinate closely with the financial committee.
  • Coordinate with all departments to collect information and data requested by Finance and Executive Director to deliver DCT reports.
  • Work in cohesion with relevant Senior Managers to ensure that sponsorship and marketing efforts are integrated across all events and programmes.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of all sponsor relations and fulfillment of agreements and maintain critical paths for sponsor relations during programmes and festival events.
  • Maintain sponsor database and ensure that all sponsors and other partners (marketing and organizational partners) are tracked and recognized appropriately.
  • Oversee development and delivery of sponsorship benefits in coordination with related departments, including Education, Community, Visual Arts, Production, Marketing & Communications.
  • Report on the overall performance of the Business Development and Sponsorship Management Department\'s activities.
  • Coordinate with all departments for preparing a report for the senior management at the end of all the projects presenting the objectives and the results.
  • Ensure the availability of resources required to carry out all tasks related to marketing, communications, sponsorship and partnership development.
  • Identify and fill the technology needs of the role to ensure that processes are performed efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing, communications and business development professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. At least five years of experience in marketing, communications and business development, of which at least 2 years in a leading role, preferably in a theatre or performing arts setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear and compelling copy for various digital and print channels.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Well-adept in all facets of marketing and business development functions
  • Intensive exposure to cultural arts/art exhibitions/museums/arts festival
  • Analytical skills to gather and interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in event planning and project management.
  • Financial acumen to develop and manage budgets effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing, communications and business development professionals.
  • Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of another language would be a plus.
  • Willing to work long working hours.
