Market Place Accountant

Job Description
Well-established advertising companies located in Ras Al Khor Industrial area, Dubai are looking for talented accountant to manage the Marketplace business. He or she will also contribute to set the strategic vision for additional opportunities for several Marketplaces. Responsibilities:
- Owning end-to-end the Selling Partner experience in AE for set of categories to build a strong group of fast-growing categories in the related P&L.
- Managing both new and existing accounts to increase their usage of Marketplace tools and features and grow their business locally, regionally and international.
- Identifying and driving new opportunities for Amazon\xe2\x80\x99s Marketplace business. Partnering with business and technical teams to design and build features and solutions specific to country requirements, while producing those features for regional application.
- To record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process Keeping all accounts up to-date and produce P L Balance Sheet and other monthly reports.
- Ability to manage up to finalization of Accounts Reconciliation of Bank accounts Supplier account Customer account other ledgers Payroll processing as per WPS requirement and internal policies and procedures.
- Perform key month end closing activities including preparing reviewing and posting journal entries and update the books VAT Filing and Verification of Supporting Documents Management of working capital forecasting budgeting and ensuring the robustness of internal control framework.
- Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in accounts (UAE experience preferred)Qualifications- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree of Commerce Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel & Word
- Having previous experience dealing with marketplace (Amazon, noon, Carrefour, Sharaf DJ, Storeus, etc..)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Available in Dubai for interview.
- Ready to join immediately.
- Having a valid visa for at least 2 months.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Portal: 1 year (Required)
- UAE: 1 year (Required)
- Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
