Marine Superintendent - UAE

WRS requires a Marine Superintendent for our clients fleet of Jack Up Vessels.

Provide Marine expertise & advice
Daily marine support to the vessels and barges.
Ensure marine assurance standards and rig move procedures are suitable and complied with.
Ensure all marine risks are identified and assessed.
Undertake offshore inspections of vessels and barges as per company procedures and prepares written reports in a timely manner for submission to the respective Fleet Manager.
Provide instruction at company simulation centre

Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge)

Must have good understanding of all marine procedures.
Good knowledge of ISPS, ISM and Classification Society regulations and procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
High standard of written and verbal English.

Qualifications/Certificates

Master Mariner (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency.
5 years seagoing experience with a minimum of 2 years as senior ranking officer preferably associated within the offshore industry.
