Marine Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Job Summary:
Sky Walker Yachts Maintenance is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong technical expertise and project management abilities. The ideal candidate will oversee mechanical systems on yachts, supervise small teams, and coordinate dry dock operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair yacht mechanical systems (engines, propulsion, hydraulics, etc.).
Plan and oversee dry dock operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Diagnose mechanical issues and provide efficient solutions.
Collaborate with other departments (electrical, upholstery, etc.) for integrated yacht maintenance.
Maintain documentation of work performed and parts used.
Requirements:
DegreeinMechanicalEngineering or related field.
Proven experience in yacht/ship maintenance (preferred).
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Knowledge of dry dock procedures and marine systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
