Maintaining Manually Prepared Endorsement Tracker.
Updating Excel sheet for daily approvals from insurers.
Maintaining dispatch trackers.
Quoting clients on single shipments via mails and calls.
Following up with the insurers for draft approval.
Following up with the client on draft or quotation approval.
Follow up with the insurers for approval for sanctions country shipments or high value shipments.
Issuance of policies for open covers and facultative shipments.
Requesting Data Processing Team to Invoice.
Dispatching the policy to the client and collecting the payment.
Knowledge required
3-5 years of experience in insurance, ideally as a broker
Knowledge of the insurance and/or insurance broking industries
Thorough comprehension of the framework for the marine insurance sector.
Knowledge of the marine insurance sector and experience with customer service. Uphold relationships and communication with insurance departments and clients.
The ability to operate under pressure and achieve results in a short period of time.
Stay up-to-date on local, state and federal law changes in the insurance field.
Good understanding of insurance quotation negotiation techniques.

Capable of working under pressure and to short timelines
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess others' work
Ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest ways of improvement
