Inspect marine and coastal infrastructure works including quay walls, revetments, breakwaters, groynes, jetties, pontoons, culverts, outfalls, and marine utility structures.
Review approved shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, ITPs, and ensure marine construction .activities comply with project specifications, contract documents, and applicable UAE/ Dubai authority standards.
Monitor construction of marine foundations, sheet piling, diaphragm walls, piling works, precast elements, scour protection, marine concrete works, and corrosion protection systems.
Inspect installation of rock armouring, geotextiles, marine mattresses, and underwater structural works.
Ensure compliance with bathymetric levels, alignment, and tolerances for marine structures, including dredging, reclamation, and seabed preparation activities.
Conduct inspections of marine equipment, barges, cranes, divers, and confirm compliance with approved construction procedures.
Review concrete mix designs, anti-washout concrete placement, curing, reinforcement, and formwork systems for marine structures.
Verify materials delivered to site (rocks, precast units, steel, marine-grade concrete, HDPE pipes, coatings, etc.) meet specifications and authority requirements.
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA Marine, guidelines.
Coordinate with marine consultants, divers, survey teams, and contractors for inspection and verification of underwater works.
Liaise with environmental teams to ensure compliance with EIA requirements, marine life protection measures, turbidity control, and silt curtain installation.
Review and monitor marine navigation safety measures and enforce work restrictions during high tides, adverse weather, or unsafe marine conditions.
