Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Marine Electrician for our team.

Responsibilities:

Repair electrical systems unsupervised

Do all required electrical installations and modifications as required by the company Diagnose faulty systems, parts, issues and equipment and correct the issue Maintain and keep safe all tools and equipment provided by the company Prevent breakdown of systems by routine inspection On call for emergency support to maintenance trouble shooting, minor and major jobs beyond working hours Completing service and repair update to be loaded to the database Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures on marine vessels. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Ensure compliance with local safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair navigation systems, communication equipment, lighting systems, and other onboard electronics. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Collaborate with team and other technical staff to ensure seamless vessel operation.

Qualifications:

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 2 year of relevant experience Proven experience as a marine electrician or similar role. Knowledge of marine electrical systems, AC/DC circuitry, and related equipment. Familiarity with marine safety standards and classification society rules Ability to read and interpret technical documents and electrical schematics. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Physical ability to work in confined spaces and climb on/off vessels.
