The ideal candidate shall be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on various marine vessels, including ships, boats, and offshore platforms. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail and strict adherence to safety
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components on marine vessels.
Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems such as lighting, navigation, radar, communication, and propulsion systems.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Ensure compliance with marine industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Work with ship engineers and other technical personnel to ensure systems function efficiently and work as a team
Test and calibrate electrical systems and instruments.
Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Marine Electrical Systems.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marine electrical work (shipyards, marine vessels, offshore platforms).
Solid understanding of electrical circuits, power distribution, and control systems.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
UAE experience or GCC marine experience is a must
Candidates on visit visa / cancelled visa in UAE are preferred.
