Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine and Coastal Engineer to support our manufacturing operations related to marine structures, equipment, and coastal systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coastal and marine engineering, with experience in the design, development, and testing of marine infrastructure or components used in coastal and offshore environments. This role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to ensure technical integrity and compliance with marine engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop marine and coastal systems, structures, or components for manufacturing (e.g., floating platforms, seawalls, pontoons, marine hardware). Conduct hydrodynamic and geotechnical analysis for coastal and offshore applications. Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and performance of marine products. Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications. Perform site assessments and surveys to support design and installation plans. Ensure designs meet environmental, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., IMO, DNV, ISO). Conduct risk assessments related to marine structures and coastal installations. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during fabrication and testing phases. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and compliance certifications.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine/coastal engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficient in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Civil 3D, ANSYS, MIKE21). Strong knowledge of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and coastal processes. Familiar with relevant standards and codes for marine engineering and fabrication. Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with offshore equipment, floating systems, or marine energy devices. Exposure to marine construction methods or shipyard operations. Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward chartership is a plus.
