Oversee manufacturing of all Land Rig Structural Projects within NOV Rig Technologies Dubai/ME
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee manufacturing of all Land Rig Structural Projects within NOV Rig Technologies Dubai/ME
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Short/Long- term goals and strategic objectives set by the upper management are met and implemented
- Develop, implement and influence best in class manufacturing practices pertaining to accomplish Right Product, Right Place, Right Time while establishing lowest cost base and exceptional quality.
- Oversees all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for planning and directing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and work forces utilization.
- Communicate accurate and timely performance metrics to direct reports.
- Responsible for creating a work environment that ensures the safety and health of all employees.
- Other task may be assigned from time to time as requested.
- Work in accordance with NOV standards QMS (API, ISO, IMS, etc.)
- Follow Company policies and standards.
- Ensure that the work environment is safe and report any unsafe conditions/acts.
- Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources.
- Liaises across the organization, with Project Managers, engineering supervisions, procurement logistics.
- Good relationship with the internal and external customers and subcontractors.
- Ability to work structured and to apply analytical skills.
- Ability to co-ordinate and manage negotiations in a solution oriented and constructive fashion
- Ability to transform a problem into a challenge/solution.
- Good inter-personal and communications skill.
- Bachelor\'s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 8 years of manufacturing experience
- Good communication skills.
- Efficiency in Microsoft office.
- Intermediate financial skills required.
- Offshore derricks Knowledge is a must.
- Pleasant personality and good team player
- Knowledgeable of MS Application (outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint)
