Job Description
Job Purpose:
The
Manufacturing & Construction Engineer
is responsible for thefabrication, assembly, and on-site integration
ofprefabricated power modules
used in data centers. This role ensures that modules are manufactured to specification, meet stringent quality and safety standards, and incorporatefire protection systems
,weatherproofing
, andcompliance with global data center infrastructure standards
(e.g., Uptime Institute, NFPA, IEC).Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with design engineers to
translate design intent
into manufacturable modular units. Support the integration offire suppression
,HVAC
,electrical distribution
, andweatherproofing systems
into module designs. Supervisefabrication, assembly, and testing
of prefabricated modules. ConductFAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)
to verify system performance, safety, and compliance. Coordinateinterface connections
(mechanical, electrical, and control systems) with on-site infrastructure. Integratefire detection and suppression systems
(e.g., FM200, NOVEC, water mist). Ensure compliance withNFPA
,FM Global
, andlocal fire codes
. Have knowledge of material selection forweatherproofing systems
(roofing, seals, coatings, insulation). Maintain documentation foras-built drawings
,test reports
, andcertifications
.Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
,Electrical Engineering
, or related field.Skills & Competencies:
Technical:
Strong knowledge of
modular construction
,prefabrication
, andindustrialized building systems (IBS)
. Expertise infire protection engineering
,NFPA standards
, andsuppression systems
. Understanding ofweatherproofing technologies
,thermal insulation
, andcorrosion prevention
.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
