Manual Lathe Machine Operator
Job Description
The Lathe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools to achieve high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate lathe machines to perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, and other machining operations.
Verify dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges.
Make adjustments to machine settings and tooling to correct deviations and maintain tolerances.
Identify and address any defects, irregularities, or anomalies in the machining process.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in machining is preferred. Proven experience as a lathe machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,750.00 per month
