Roles and responsibilities

Review, assessment, commentary and technical approval of the Mechanical design and documentation from the Mechanical design consultants for allocated projects throughout the design stages.
Coordinate with the Technical Department engineering team for required input for the review and approval of Mechanical drawings and specifications from the Mechanical design consultant(s) for each design stage submission.
Liaise with the leadership to ensure complete satisfaction on Mechanical design related aspects of allocated projects.
Lead and undertake any required in house Mechanical design and documentation as required.
Constant coordination with in house and consultant resources to keep Mechanical design work on track.
Coordinate with leadership for Mechanical design documents’ approvals.
Coordinate regular reports on design work progress.
Ensure appropriate usage and application of the project management system with respect to entry and analysis of work related data for day to day functioning to facilitate seamless communication of all relevant (technical/non-technical) information across the organisation on a real time basis for maximum effectiveness.
