Position Overview
The Manager Treasury Operations role at Al-Futtaim Dubai supports the Global Treasury Centre by managing liquidity, loan and deposit activities, foreign exchange and derivative transactions, and treasury accounting. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient treasury operations, strong controls, and effective collaboration with banks and internal stakeholders across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily liquidity reports covering group bank accounts and treasury exposures
• Review and verify fund transfers and ensure timely execution of treasury payments
• Coordinate intra-company transfers and manage cash pooling activities
• Support reporting and administration of internal and external loan portfolios
• Prepare loan drawdown, rollover, settlement, and pre-settlement documentation
• Manage deposit placements and reconcile bank confirmations
• Control and reconcile inter-company loan balances and interest calculations
• Support audit requests and resolve accounting matters related to treasury activities
• Ensure confirmation and settlement of foreign exchange, derivatives, and interest rate swaps
• Record all treasury transactions accurately in SAP TRM and ERP systems
• Prepare month-end reconciliations, schedules, and audit documentation
• Post accounting journals related to treasury activities in a timely manner
• Support treasury transformation initiatives including cash pooling, in-house banking, SAP TRM rollout, and SWIFT implementation
• Develop and maintain treasury process documentation, SOPs, and process blueprints

Ideal Profile

• Professional accounting qualification with a master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum five years of experience within a treasury function in a medium to large organization or banking environment
• Strong understanding of liquidity management, loans, forex, and treasury accounting
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP TRM and ERP platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a team environment
