We help clients by delivering assessment, transformation, and process efficiency solutions in specialty areas like finance, supply chain, IT Advisory, customer, people and organization change, strategic direction, and program management. To address the shifting landscape of our clients\' needs, EY has established a national Center of Excellence focusing in the broad topics of Enterprise Intelligence, Risk Transformation, IT Risk, and Enabling Technologies. Enabling Technologies primarily focuses on the design and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages like SAP, Oracle, and others. Our team typically works with Fortune 1000 clients across a variety of industries including, Manufacturing, Pharma, Energy/Utilities, Transportation, Telecommunications, Entertainment/Media, Oil/Gas and Consumer Goods/Retail.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you\'ll advise clients on a variety of Information Management services that help identify, assess, manage, optimize and measure the organization\'s IM capabilities. Team with client information, data, and technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of information management technology solutions. Participate in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building and management. This will include the generation of new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients. You will be entitled to manage medium to large transformative projects supported by Information Management solutions.

Project Management: Participate in large scale transformation client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client\'s business. Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be comfortable interfacing with a client daily. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.

Skills and attributes for success

• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with excellent executive presence.
• Significant experience in managing and delivering medium to large teams on complex programs and projects.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field;
• At least a bachelor\'s degree and approximately 10+ years of related work experience
• Demonstrated experience through all phases of the information and data life cycle, including project planning, requirements definition, data architecture design, IM solution build/configuration, testing and operational transition of information and data solutions
• Experience with large scale ERP and/or CRM solutions implementation or transformational efforts
• Strong experience in managing and delivering a project through its lifecycle
• Experience in managing project financials and project management tools (examples: MS project, SciForma)
• Experience in business development and delivering against financial targets in a Professional Services environment.
• Experience in the oil and gas sector
