Manager - Strategic Government Relations - DP World - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The Manager - Strategic Government Relations role at DP World Dubai is responsible for leading government engagement, regulatory compliance, and public sector coordination across the UAE and GCC. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement government relations strategies aligned with DP World's corporate and operational objectives
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with ministries, free zones, semi-government entities, and embassies or consulates across the UAE and GCC
• Represent the organization at official meetings, conferences, and government-led forums to enhance corporate presence and partnerships
• Oversee corporate documentation, permits, licenses, renewals, and regulatory approvals across the UAE and GCC
• Ensure ongoing compliance with local and regional laws impacting business operations and workforce requirements
• Act as the primary liaison with authorities to secure approvals and address regulatory or compliance-related challenges
• Lead, mentor, and develop the PRO team to ensure consistent service quality and adherence to company policies
• Establish and optimize processes for visas, permits, and government documentation to support operational efficiency
• Provide advisory support to senior management on government policies, regulatory changes, and procedural updates
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of government transactions and compliance obligations
• Manage government-related operations across GCC and selected Arab countries, maintaining unified compliance standards
• Monitor regional regulatory trends and recommend adjustments to organizational practices

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory management within the UAE or GCC
• Strong understanding of UAE and regional regulatory frameworks and government procedures
• Leadership experience managing PRO or government relations teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
