About The Role

We\'re on a look out for experienced Sourcing Manager with a solid background in Marketing and PR services procurement activities. This role falls under the strategic sourcing team where fluency with running tenders and putting long term contracts in place is necessary.

Sourcing Manager will be responsible for optimizing the efficiency of the sourcing department by devising strategic plans which focus on achieving customer satisfaction whilst reducing costs to the business. Duties include planning, scheduling, initiating, monitoring and quality assurance of all procurement and contract activities. Work requires independent and professional judgment and is performed under the general direction of the Director, Procurement. You will have to achieve the wider business objectives, including a streamlined strategic sourcing procedure across all stakeholders. This role would best suit an analytical, solution-driven individual, who can adhere to strict deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities simultaneously and is naturally passionate about the luxury hospitality industry. Besides, the Sourcing Manager will oversee every aspect of the sourcing process and will determine the company\'s service measures, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.

About You

Ideally, we\xe2\x80\x99d like you to have a relevant bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 prior experience in successfully managing the strategic sourcing function and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will have to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be comfortable with tender process and contracts management. In addition to this, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management. In this role, you will have the natural ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust. Exceptional creative and analytical problem-solving skill set with a strong desire to constantly grow and evolve. Experience of working within a large-scale hotel or resort would be preferred.

Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge is required. You will have experience with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, contract software, ERP, and e-Sourcing. Having prior experience working with suppliers and resources within the UAE market preferred. Besides, you will have experience in negotiation, analysis, a good understanding of terms and conditions, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
