Job Purpose
Review credit policy for Secured Asset Products and recommend changes by anticipating changes in market and competitive conditions, in order to ensure profitable portfolio growth and loss prevention.
Key Responsibilities
Review Credit policy for Secured Asset Products regularly and make recommendations accordingly to ensure that these are consistent with the bank's overall strategy on portfolio quality and digitization realistically reflecting /anticipating the changing market and competitive conditions.
Co-ordinating for all system enhancement projects related to updating of policy parameters with objective to digitize and automate credit decisions
Maintain awareness of market trends in terms of competitors' offerings, Central Bank regulations to ensure due diligence with the prevailing credit underwriting standards and processes.
Monitor the portfolio performance periodically and proactively identify risk issues to the Head of Secured policy for any appropriate action as necessary to correct deficiencies or amend policies if any
Enlisting of any new dealer or vehicle as per bank's acceptance criteria
Prepare & provide feedback to the user requirements & specifications to IT and assist in UATs & projects within the dedicated deadline
Provide support and serve as liaison with internal audit and external regulator regarding lending and credit risk management requirements and ascertain requisite controls are in place resulting in satisfactory Audit reports (both external and internal).
Revise, update & timely renew Product Development Document (PDD) and Operating Credit Policies (OCP) and raise approval memos where necessary.
Participate in meetings with the Head of Secured Policy with working groups to implement and review the bank strategy from time to time to ensure vision and objective of the organization are met.
Ensuring appropriate training on existing /newly rolled policies to the credit analysts and front-end staff.
Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams like Business, Sales, Branches, Product, IT, Operations, Collections, Compliance, Fraud, Service Quality etc., to deliver with excellence.
To co-ordinate with the Home Finance Property Evaluators for quarterly market reviews.
All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.

Education
Bachelors in Business Administration
Work Experience
Minimum 6 years in Retail Credit Policy and credit initiation
