Synopsis
Be part of a landmark project with Etihad Airport Services as we unveil a cutting-edge cargo terminal at Zayed International Airport. We are seeking an experienced Primavera Engineer to join our project delivery team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring using Primavera P6. The role will ensure that project timelines are realistic, achievable, and aligned with contract requirements, while providing accurate reporting to support decision-making.
In addition, as a secondary function the manager will oversee the Document Control function, managing the Document Controller and providing coverage during absences to ensure proper documentation flow, compliance with procedures, and timely communication across stakeholders.
Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 and critical path analysis.
• Track progress against baselines, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders and complete forensic analysis in response to contractor EOT submissions.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to gather and validate progress data.
• Oversee document control processes, ensuring compliance with procedures and proper record management.
• Provide coverage for the Document Controller during leave periods.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in project management or related discipline.
• 5-10 years' experience in project planning and scheduling (construction/engineering/MHS).
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Background of Primavera P6 planning and scheduling within Construction and Engineering sector
• Knowledge of planning principles and reporting.
• Familiarity with document control systems and FIDIC contracts
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

The current cargo terminals at Zayed International Airport cover 41,000 sq m of storage facilities that offer a full range of cargo services, including a fully equipped perishables center, temperature-controlled rooms, pallet screening, state-of-the-art CCTV for valuable cargo, and 24/7 end-to-end cargo support, including build and break, documentation, airside transports, special product handling, including perishables, and pharmaceuticals. Our innovative systems allow track and trace through our cargo facilities, better control of short connecting shipments, and real-time status updates.
