Summary

Talabat is looking to hire a Regional Operations Manager for its tExpress vertical to create an end-to-end process led function. The selected candidate will report to the General Manager tExpress for the region, he/she is expected to define, measure, analyse, improve and control processes in 8 countries across the MENA region. This operations rockstar will work in conjunction with his country counterparts and provide guidance + direction on the best way forward. The role requires thorough collaboration amongst regional and country departments of logistics, sales, finance and legal; furthermore, driving our parent company Delivery Hero\xe2\x80\x99s operational agenda also falls under the role\xe2\x80\x99s mandate.

What\xe2\x80\x99s on Your Plate?

Driving best practice at scale: Creating and rolling out SOPs, training materials, working hand in hand with our operations lead in each country.

Work closely with global operations stakeholders to identify and implement cross regional solutions.

Evaluate multiple country performance metrics - provide clear and executable recommendations to remove bottlenecks

Managing end to end operations of the last-mile operations (vendor configuration, product operations, end user experience, firefighting, streamlining processes for all stakeholders involved i.e. logistics, sales, finance and billing).

Develop a customer journey map and work on improving every node throughout the end.

Implement Kaizen in the deliver anything function, including first and last mile.

Use lean six-sigma concepts to minimize waste, maximize output and minimize variability to be the business leader with regards to speed and reliability.

Conduct analysis on time and geographic level. Own process variability, optimum time-estimation, vendor delay, fail rate and drive plans to improve fundamental KPI performance.

Responsible for daily pulse check on region-wide performance for the talabat Express vertical.

What Did We Order?

You have at least 3 years of experience in a fast paced operations heavy e-commerce or platform establishment.

You will need to be systematic, detail-oriented, structured and know how to prioritize - you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved.

You are able to process de-normalized information and create business sense for senior and technical leadership.

You have analytical skills and are not afraid to step into daily operations to diagnose pain points/improvement opportunities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

You have strong organizational skills.

You can work independently and know how to prioritize and problem solve.
