We have an exciting opportunity for ambitious, focused revenue management leaders (or those in Network Planning with the appetite to transition to R&C) to contribute to the evolution of Etihad's Market Management strategy. In this role achieve maximum possible revenue for Etihad Airways by defining the available quantities of Etihad products to sell and setting the most optimal prices to the diverse market segments Etihad operates within by accurately forecasting the consumer demand and willingness to pay.

You will lead a team to derive and lead the execution of Point of Sale /Regional Commercial Pricing Strategies to achieve optimal RASK performance and deliver company revenue targets. Accountabilities

  • Accountable for delivering the monthly revenue performance against agreed revenue targets and delivering optimal revenue for the network
  • Set the pricing framework by market segment for Etihad's products and services, considering the product proposition and competitor strategies to maximise revenue
  • Ensure the Manager Pricing & Demand team set prices in accordance with the strategy and processes are adhered to.
  • Monitor current market / economic factors and competitor behaviour and lead decisions to proactively adjust the pricing strategy to achieve maximum revenue potential
  • Contribute to the Country commercial plans, ensuring buy-in on the pricing strategy and alignment with Sales and Marketing strategies.
  • Owner and the final authority on price led revenue actions and applying an entrepreneurial approach to improve the base line revenue, embracing fail fast and test and learn approach
  • Manage the accuracy of the forecasted consumer demand and selling fares that are critical inputs for the revenue management optimisation engine to deliver optimal revenue for the business
  • Contribute to the development of Revenue Management systems and practices by driving process efficiencies and leading the team in adopting new tools and systems. Education & Experience
  • Educated to degree level with high familiarity to airline systems, such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, MIDT, DDS, Pricing Theory and management accounting reports, etc
  • Minimum 5 years Airline Revenue Management experience/Planning in a complexed numerate and analytical environment with proven ability to coach, motivate and lead a team, ensuring goals are met/exceeded
