What you'll be doing:
The Marketplace Manager will play a critical role in launching and managing marketplace channels, leveraging third-party integration technology to drive trade and enhance customer experiences at GMG Sports.
This position will collaborate closely with the external vendors and account teams, internal ecom Trade, catalogue, Buying, IT and brand teams to implement and deliver the marketplace initiatives. The Marketplace Manager will oversee the daily operations related to these projects and revenue streams
Launch and manage marketplace channels by utilizing third-party integrators, driving omnichannel trade across web, app, and retail locations.
Optimize fulfillment operations and returns/refunds, to enhance customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain reports for the support office, stakeholders, and retail operations in relation to Marketplace.
: Channel Launch & Management: Launch and manage marketplace channels by utilizing third-party integrators, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Trade: Manage and own the Marketplace range, catalogue and segmentation across all brands in GMG Sports, ensuring go live activity and trade calendar ownership to deliver the KPIs.
Collaboration: Work closely internally with the Trade, Catalogue, Buying, IT, and Brand teams to implement and enhance the operation, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Alongside owning the external vendor relationships.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations related to marketplace projects, monitoring performance metrics to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
3rd party management and commercials, ensure the best market rates and on time payments and reconciliation.
Manage and develop an executives and support development our ecom team to drive marketplace understanding.
Provide feedback and requirements during development, user testing, deployment planning and coordination with cross-functional teams, able to trouble-shoot, collect feedback and build and deliver reporting on key performance metrics.
