They are seeking a Manager of IT Data Engineering to lead their data and analytics initiatives. This role involves transforming data for strategic insights and collaborating with IT, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to enhance operations.

About the role
This role entails the establishment of a robust data architecture to fuel insights and foster innovation. The candidate will take charge of leading an administration and support team, responsible for core data engineering platforms, including AWS EMR, Hadoop, Redshift, DMS, Hudi, and Framework. The responsibilities extend to the identification, design, and execution of process enhancements, encompassing automation, optimization of data delivery, and the expansion of infrastructure scalability.

In addition, the role also involves the modernization of the data platform through the integration of cutting-edge technologies and cloud capabilities. The creation of reusable components, frameworks, and scalable libraries is an integral part of the position. Effective collaboration with IT lines of business and analytics leaders is crucial to prioritize tasks and align technology decisions.

Furthermore, the role encompasses providing data engineering support to Data Science teams for the development and deployment of AI/ML models. Beyond this, the candidate will serve as a leader, motivator, coach, and developer of a skilled team consisting of data engineering, data science, and visualization professionals.

About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. They should have a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience working with large data sets, Hive, and establishing best practices for data visualization and data architecture. Candidates should hold certifications in Project Management and SAFe, combined with exceptional leadership skills that can inspire and foster the growth of others.

The ideal candidate will need to showcase proficiency in decision-making, a strong grasp of business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
