Job Overview

As a Translation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the offshore translation team while also actively contributing to translation and proofreading tasks. This role ensures that all translated materials meet the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism, aligning with the firm's business needs and regulatory requirements.

As a Translation Manager

some of your responsibilities will include:

Manage and coordinate the offshore translation team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables




Translate, proofread, and edit business documents, proposals, reports, and client communications in both Arabic and English




Ensure consistency in terminology and style across all translated materials, aligning with the firm's brand and professional standards




Work closely with internal teams, including audit, tax, advisory, and legal, to provide accurate and contextually appropriate translations




Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry-specific terminology to ensure compliance and precision in translations




Develop and refine internal translation processes to improve efficiency and quality control




Provide guidance and training to junior translators or external vendors as needed

Skills

Proven experience as a

translator within an audit or professional services firm

Arabic speaker

with strong familiarity with

UAE, KSA, and Gulf region

business context
Background in

legal and financial translation

, including audit reports and financial documents
Proficiency in

Memoq

translation software
Experience in

Memoq project management

, including workflow coordination and terminology management
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills
