We are currently recruiting for

Manager Ground Services (GS) Business Support

within

Ground Services

in Doha.


The successful candidate will develop and expand the provision of a comprehensive support services section within Ground Services for providing extensive administrative support in line with operational requirement to Ground Services. They will also manage, develop and implement financial controls to lead the Ground Services Business Support section in the most cost-effective manner by managing all business support functions of Contracts, Administration, Categorical Procurement in line with Organizational processes.


Main Responsibilities:




Lead the GS Support services team ensuring effective delivery of internal services and continuous improvement of departments' processes.


Manage department DoA & DRM and ensure changes are abreast and in line with current organizational policies.

Devise strategy for cost-saving on contracts at outstations such as office leasing space at outstations, system services to get the best out of the contracting party.

Establish the teams' objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

Establish a clear and meaningful strategic process to ensure all outstations administrative contracts are processed prior to expiry date of the contract by enhancing department automation backed by active manual control.

Evaluate and endorse business cases and projects that support network operations prior to submission for senior management's approval.

Recommend, implement and administer accounting of Ground Services costs to adhere to budgets and financial KPl's within job scope.

Liaise with concerned departments to develop and create projects guidelines in order to manage and prioritize Support Services projects in order to ensure that they are properly resourced.

Qualifications



The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and job specific skills:


Master's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration field with Minimum 8 years of job-related Experience


Lean Process Management

Experienced in Airport Operations, Airline Commercial & Supply-Chain. Experienced across multiple business areas in Commercial aviation is preferred

Experience in Contracts & Administration coupled with excellent financial skills is preferred

Job Specific Skills:




Overall Managerial experience of 5+ years in managing cross-functional teams.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Expert in Support Services and Business Processes functions across airlines and organization.

Results driven, excellent time and project management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication, Report writing, technical writing and presentation skills is preferred

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills

Solid experience in Business Process Modeling, Business Analysis & Reporting is preferred

Professional experience in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Work, and PowerPoint) and MS Visio Interpreting data to inform project decisions
