Manage the identification and delivery of Etihad’s fuel saving program and manage cross-departmental projects that contribute to a cost-efficient and optimal operation. Conduct emission tracking and reporting from a fuel burn perspective for external reporting requirements, including data quality & completeness verification.
Accountabilities
Work collaboratively across the organization to identify opportunities and threats related to fuel consumption at the airline
Manage the tracking of fuel saving initiatives with standardizing and documenting the methodologies used for tracking, while contributing to the setup and validation of annual fuel burn and fuel saving budgets.
Responsible for fuel data quality & management related tasks, including administration of the company’s fuel management information system’s data and analysis accuracy, as well as hosting recurring status calls with relevant system vendors.
Responsible for Etihad’s emission tracking and reporting from a fuel burn perspective for both IATA CORSIA and EU-ETS schemes, including data quality & completeness verification and liaising with vendors and external verifiers to ensure Etihad is compliant with all relevant reporting requirements.
Develop and implement robust communication and change strategies that convey strategic objectives to various audiences
Assist with department specific analysis on fuel uplift, including Abu Dhabi’s holding fuel policy and other extra fuel categories to ensure optimum balance between fuel saving and on-time performance.
Assist Flight Operations with specific fuel conservation tasks, including maintenance and project management of Etihad’s Statistical Contingency Fuel initiative.
Responsible for conducting adhoc analysis related to fuel saving related enquiries by various departments.

Education & Experience
BA/BS degree with minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation, preferable in in Fuel Optimization programs or Airline specific performance initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, including financial analysis / modeling to assess strategic options, and developing creative solutions to complex problems
Organized, detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
Strong problem identification and solving skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and able to follow complex instructions
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize to meet deadlines
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must maintain strict confidentiality
Experience in business strategy or business transformation
