Manager Freight Forwarding

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Manager to lead our company\'s freight forwarding operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of freight forwarders, coordinating with carriers and customs brokers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The Freight Forwarding Manager will also be responsible for analyzing data, identifying areas for process improvements, and implementing solutions to optimize freight forwarding operations. Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of freight forwarders to ensure smooth and efficient freight forwarding operations
- Coordinate with carriers and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Analyze freight forwarding data and identify areas for process improvements
- Implement solutions to optimize freight forwarding operations and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers and customers
- Prepare and maintain reports related to freight forwarding operations
- Manage budgets and expenses related to freight forwarding operations
- Bachelor\'s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding software
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for process improvements
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience managing budgets and expenses related to freight forwarding operations
- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
