Job Description

The role involves managing government budgeting and reporting (financial and operational) for various projects, including stakeholder relations, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with policies. Assist in consolidating and reporting financial and business performance against KPIs and plans, and oversee manpower budgeting and forecasting to support the consolidated business plan. Responsibilities

Manage the preparation of monthly management reports for all government-funded initiatives. Report monthly to CFO and senior management on initiatives, highlighting variances and key issues with recommendations. Prepare and submit financial returns to the Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Energy (DoE), addressing ad-hoc requests. Ensure timely submission of all financial reports to the statistics center, including surveys and environmental reports. Manage reporting to the Department of Economic Development (DED) and the Executive Council (EC). Ensure accurate accounting of transactions related to ZSP & IRENA. Review and analyze transactions in the GL, prepare journals, and process sub-ledger inputs. Coordinate with project managers on accruals, provisions, prepayments, and cost monitoring. Prepare reconciliations and supporting documents for audits and shareholder reporting. Lead the budgeting process for government initiatives, including submissions and approvals with DoE. Guide management on budget matters related to DoE and DoF. Manage manpower budget submissions and prepare budget templates. Forecast quarterly fund drawdowns to ensure positive cash flow. Consolidate budgets and monitor actuals versus budgets annually. Lead quarterly and annual forecasting exercises and coordinate budget review meetings. Qualifications

Preferred Experience: 6-8 years in financial planning and reporting, with 3-4 years in a multinational group environment, preferably involving government reporting. Job-Specific Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, IFRS, accounting processes, internal controls, and auditing standards. Additional Information
