As a Manager in the FCC Advisory practice, you will lead and oversee high-quality client engagements to assess and enhance FCC systems and controls. You will manage the overall project, leading and supporting the project teams under the oversight of the Engagement Partner/Engagement Director, ensuring successful delivery of complex and diverse engagements, while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

About the FCC Advisory Practice
The teams services focus on assurance / independent FCC Program assessments / third party validation and monitorships, and AML Program development, uplift and remediation, including design and implementation of (key elements) of firms' FCC Programs (such as Financial Crime Risk Assessments, Policies & Procedures development, Target Operating Model design). We also support clients with FCC technology needs, such as independent validation of TM & Sanctions systems, effectiveness testing and optimization and support in the vendor selection and implementation phase.
As a Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
Delivery: Leading and delivering high-quality client engagements (small / medium sized projects) and leading workstreams on large scale projects under the oversight of the Engagement Partner/Engagement Director, such as:
+ Assurance / Independent FCC assessments:
+ Performing AML Program Assessment, Internal Audits;
+ Conducting gap analysis;
+ Executing AUPs; and
+ Participating in Third Party Validation / Monitorships. AML Program development and uplift:
+ Developing and executing for example FCC risk assessments and Risk Appetite Statement, FCC policies and procedures, Transaction Monitoring Typology Assessments, & Customer Risk Assessment Models.
+ Supporting clients with (re-)designing / enhancing their target operating model
+ Undertaking/Supporting AML vendor systems assessment. Supporting regulatory interactions
Delivering FCC training sessions for Boards and across all three lines of defense
Project Management:
+ Managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including client updates, progress tracking, billing, and quality assurance
+ Overseeing project engagement formalities, such as conflict checks, client acceptance, and documentation Business & Practice Development:
+ Driving business development activities, including preparing proposals, marketing efforts, and thought leadership
+ Actively participating in/leading client meetings, providing strategic insights and solutions
+ Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members to ensure high-quality outputs Building and maintaining client relationships, and communicating clearly and effectively in all deliverables

Skills
Think you've got what it takes to be an Associate Consultant? Like the color purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:
7 to 9 years of experience working in Financial Crime Advisory (Consulting) and/or in financial institutions (2nd Line of Defence with advisory type responsibilities)
Very good practical understanding of the key elements of a robust FCC Program
Familiarity of regulatory requirements and expectation for AML/CFT, CPF and Sanctions in the UAE
OR
other key international jurisdictions (such as UK, EU, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.)
Proven track record of leading small/mid-sized AML Advisory projects and/or leading key workstreams on large scale projects
Strong and demonstrated project and stakeholder management skills
Strong and demonstrated Business Development skills with regard to proposal development, thought leadership
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Excellent interpersonal skills - with positive & enthusiastic attitude
Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft office applications; and
A critical thinker with a strong eye for detail and creative in problem solving, strong analytical skills
Advantageous but not a requirement: Hold a leading professional qualification such as CAMS, ICA, CFE or similar professional certifications
Experience of assessments of Financial Crime Systems I.e. Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions Screening (Name and Payment)
Knowledge of other financial crime legislation/regulation (e.g., Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Fraud, Market Abuse) is advantageous but not required
Keen on expanding business development efforts'; and
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Arabic is advantageous
