R Square Coffee is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented F&B Operations Manager to manage and oversee the complete day-to-day operations of our coffee shop in Dubai. The selected candidate will be fully responsible for staff management, sales targets, operational control, quality standards, and direct reporting to the Owner.
This is a leadership role and requires strong decision-making, accountability, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced F&B environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all cafe operations on a daily basis
Lead, control, and monitor all employees including baristas, commis chefs, and service staff
Ensure discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professional conduct of staff
Achieve monthly sales targets and operational KPIs assigned by management
Plan staff duty rosters, shift schedules, and leave management
Handle staff performance reviews, warnings, and corrective actions
Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage consistency, and customer service
Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and supplier coordination
Ensure compliance with UAE food safety, hygiene, and labour regulations
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve operational issues
Coordinate with marketing and promotions to increase footfall and revenue
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Directly report to the Owner and follow strategic instructions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an F&B Manager or Cafe Manager in UAE
Strong leadership and people management skills
Deep understanding of cafe operations, coffee service, and food handling
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities
Strong communication and reporting skills
Target-driven and performance-focused mindset
Knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and wastage reduction
Familiar with UAE labour laws and food safety regulations
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in specialty coffee shops or branded cafes
Ability to train, motivate, and retain staff
Strong problem-solving and operational planning skills
Willing to take ownership and responsibility for overall business performance
