Mission/ Core purpose of the Job The Manager of Business Operations, Transformation & Intelligence is responsible for driving Bayobab towards its short, mid & long-term ambitions by supporting the business in its operational excellence, efficiency, and effectiveness. This Manager will ensure the right frameworks, models, programs, processes, and systems are in place to enable the company to unlock billions of USD in value and reach unicorn status ($1bn+ revenue) by 2025. This is a mission-critical, imperative role to ensure the company\'s success. The role will also provide internal coordination to ensure synergies between Bayobab HQ and Bayobab registered companies (opcos), and the Bayobab functional units. Business Planning Architecture. Ensure effective strategy execution planning by designing frameworks and models to support the process
Business Goals design. Goal = Objective x Target. Facilitate the alignment of the goal cascade throughout the business. Deliver a holistic view for other Bayobab departments to integrate in their plans (corporate strategy execution planning for consistency and alignment of execution)
Strategic, operational, and business planning workshops facilitation
Business Transformation: Drive business transformation; improvements in the Efficiency & Effectiveness of the business
Drive Business Efficiency through BPE, Business Process Engineering: Define, Measure, Analyze, then Improve and Control or Design and Verify Business processes.
Documentation of existing processes, process improvement design
Enable the organization to deliver against its strategic objectives through the identification of performance gaps and closing them through BPE
Intelligence: Build a company management system that provides business visibility. Provide reporting and analytics of today while designing the future roadmap from zero to ML. Design an evolution roadmap for the company from zero to Reporting, to BI, to AI/ML.
Design Metrics and KPIs for the business, including six-sigmatized metric correlation for root cause analysis
Design Dashboards ensuring business performance visibility
Establish reporting rhythm and governance process
Design data hierarchy structures
Design Data quality management framework, including data quality standards, methods, tools, and governance.
Enable the organization to deliver against its strategic goals through the identification of performance gaps. Evaluate the root causes of the performance issues and provide the visualized analytics to the exco, including corrective actions recommendations
Build the system by which predictive analytics of the performance can be conducted, ensuring proactive address of the performance issues.
Build reporting for the Bayobab Group for the business overall as well as for respective organizations within the company
Provide guidance to the reporting resources throughout the organization to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of the reporting
Put together requirements for the systems and tools.
Working closely with CTIO and CIO, implement the BI system for the business.
Business Readiness and Digital Enablement:
Readiness \xe2\x80\x93 ensure the organization is ready for the new process, metric or program implementation. Build training materials with the support of marketing
Facilitate readiness sessions
Digital Enablement. Translate business requirements into requirements and specs for tools and systems. Working closely with the CIO team, ensure the changes are implemented.
Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Complexity:
Provide guidance for the company for all reporting, process, quality management, and project management resources.
High level of creativity, innovation and multi-tasking.
Communicate actively and effectively, resolving any potential conflicts that may arise
Working with 3rd party vendors and consulting experts
Strong business acumen as well as technical skills

Postgraduate qualification MBA/Masters (Economics, Business Management, Data Science) preferred.
Technical certifications like six sigma, BI, Analytics preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in relevant corporate &/or professional operational roles (strategy, consulting, BI, data management, data science)
Tracked record in telecommunications, digital or related industries
A proven portfolio of past projects (BI, process improvement, building management systems, building cascading goals, business planning methodologies, reporting and dashboards, and operational frameworks) is a must
Proven-track records in strategic (re-) engineering, programme/project management
