Manage and administer a wide variety of contracts in the construction industry. Sound knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract, contract administration, claims management, disputes resolution and legal framework. Monitoring Tendering process, securing tender bids with optimal quotes submission. Work closely with relevant stakeholders to analyze prepared budgets, Plans, Resources and incorporate suggestions/changes on methods to increase the profitability of the organisation. Scrutinize and approval of Contracts, business proposals, budgets, Variation claims, EOT with an eye to detail. Negotiating and managing all the contracts of a company and issuance of LOA/Contracts to relevant entities to ensure that the business signs beneficial deals. Developing and maintain relationships with independent contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers. Creating standard contracts that the company can use in its dealings with internal and external partners. Studying the requirements, duties, and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company's goals and industry regulations. Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Researching business partners and their history prior to writing or signing contracts. Monitoring the implementation and performance of signed contracts. Interim payment certificate (IPC) evaluation and issuance to finance for payment Monitoring cost with respect to execution expense against contract value and ensuring cash inflow through billing. Contract closure Cashflow preparation and issue to relevant parties/finance for financial planning Prepare & maintain reports on the status of contracts indicating current status with regards to financial situation Training, supervising, and managing the contract team. Maintaining, updating, and improving contractual records. Strong commercial awareness. Managing all commercial activities and ensuring billing & IPC evaluation aligns with executed contracts. Good analytical, financial and numeric skills. Analytical Thinking: Applies a whole systems perspective in all commercial activities. Decision Making: Makes complex commercial decision in face of ambiguity. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in managing contracts and commercials in construction industry.
