\xef\xbb\xbf JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Development Marketing - EMEA is a key member of the EMEA Continent Development team, Global Development Support team and Development & Residential Marketing Team. He/she works to position Marriott as the Development partner of choice through the implementation of an integrated marketing strategy to actively engage with the owner and franchisee community, driving awareness and owner preference across Europe, Middle East & Africa. This position reports to the EMEA Director of Development Marketing & supports them in all aspects of B2B Development Marketing including EMEA marketing & event strategy, presentations and RFPs, public relations, budget planning, communications, partnerships and owner & industry event activations. The Manager will be proactive in collaborating with cross-functional teams including Brand, Owner Franchise Services, Loyalty, Global Design and PR. The Manager will provide timely feedback/information to direct reports on how to best use corporate resources to support and scale Development Marketing efforts in EMEA to deliver against business goals and meet or exceed key performance indicators.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required
  • 3-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related;
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing, brand/product management or events
  • Self-starter with a proven track-record of delivering high quality work products on time
  • Advanced ability with full suite of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic ability with Adobe InDesign/Illustrator preferential
  • Passionate about the travel industry
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contributes to the development and execution of EMEA Development Marketing plans
  • Partners with brand teams to support the global positioning and growth of new brands across Europe, Middle East & Africa regions including supporting the Development roll-out of key EMEA business imperatives such as All-Inclusive & Mid-scale, and the continued expansion of Fairfield by Marriott and Moxy in EMEA
  • Develops, creates, and keeps current Development marketing materials including: region- specific brand presentations and fact sheets, case studies, RFPs, and Developer contact sheets
  • Plans and executes owner events and coordinates MI presence at key industry events
  • Supports Marriott\xe2\x80\x99s Developers in enhancing their LinkedIn profiles, suggesting relevant content for sharing & preparing posts
  • Coordinates speaking opportunities at key industry conferences and events
  • Supports the maintenance of MarriottDevelopment.com website content for EMEA
  • Helps to maintain relevant content on HotSpot, BOX and Developer Resource Center
  • Works with development colleagues to produce toolkits and resources, pitch decks, case studies and custom RFPs
  • Partners with Bonvoy and the marketing organization on the development of owner facing brand communications, brand voice / collateral development, photography, etc.
  • Shares best practices with Global Development Marketing team
