Role Summary

The talabat UAE Communications, Public Affairs and Corporate Responsibility team is seeking a talented and driven communications professional to support the Head of Department in delivering impactful campaigns, in conjunction with the regional team.

As Communications Manager, this role will report into the local Head of department and will lead in maintaining, protecting and strengthening talabat\xe2\x80\x99s reputation with various external and internal stakeholders.

What\xe2\x80\x99s On Your Plate?

Align regularly with other functions, regional teams as well as external stakeholders

Develop and execute a comprehensive comms strategy (consumer and corporate)

Plan and manage budget in a timely manner

Oversee PR agency\xe2\x80\x99s daily scope of work

Maintain and build media relations, as well as manage media partnerships

Generate various content for media and social media (written and video)

Project manage events, activations and PR stunts

Review translations as well as content from other departments to ensure quality

Protect the brand\xe2\x80\x99s reputation with a proactive role in crisis management

Secure interviews and speaking opportunities for leadership profiling

Support with internal comms and employee corporate responsibility activities

What Did We Order?

A minimum of 5+ years of experience Communications (both consumer and corporate), with exposure to public affairs and/or corporate responsibility

Ideally having both agency experience and/or dynamic in-house exposure

Excellent Arabic and English communications skills (written and verbal)

Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic organization

A proven track record of impactful integrated comms campaigns

Strong media and influencers relations in the UAE (Arabic, English - Asian is a plus)

Innovative and creative with a passion for making an impact in the world

A team player spirit, able to work with others to achieve a common goal

Ownership at their core \xe2\x80\x93 able to own all tasks and projects to completion

Organizational skills - used to simultaneously working on several projects with attention to detail

Able to work under pressure with high emotional intelligence
