The Role

A leading retail group in the Gulf is seeking an experienced Manager - Business Analytics to drive data-backed transformation across core business areas. This is a high-impact role involving direct collaboration with senior leaders and a strong focus on using data to influence strategic decisions in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities o Lead analytical initiatives that support business growth across merchandising, customer engagement, supply chain, and pricing. o Deliver actionable insights that shape business strategy and improve key operational metrics. o Guide the deployment of advanced analytics and AI-led solutions, including automation, forecasting, and personalisation engines. o Interface with C-level stakeholders to identify data opportunities and present insights with clarity and commercial relevance. o Translate data into compelling stories and dashboards that influence decision-making at scale. o Manage end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, ensuring quality and timeliness. o Stay abreast of emerging tools and methodologies to keep the analytics agenda future-ready.



Requirements

5 to 8 years of analytics experience, ideally in retail, consumer products, or e-commerce. o Strong command over statistical methods such as regression, clustering, market basket analysis, and optimisation techniques. o Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure). o Exposure to marketing automation tools such as Braze, MoEngage, or Bloomreach is an advantage. o Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify data narratives for non-technical stakeholders. o Educational background in quantitative disciplines (Math, Stats, Engineering, Economics) or an MBA from a top institution. o Prior experience managing AI/ML projects or analytics programs is highly desirable.
