About the role:

As the Manager of Baggage and PLB (Passenger Loading Bridge) Operations at Hamad International Airport, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our baggage handling and passenger loading bridge systems.

Key responsibilities:

Provide leadership for the airport baggage related services (such as baggage tubs circulation operations, gate baggage collection operations, and the baggage handling and Baggage Handling System (BHS) operations), Passenger Loading Bridge (PLB) and Bridge Mounted Equipment (BME) services (such as Ground Power Unit (GPU) and Pre-conditioned Air (PCA) operations) at Hamad International Airport. Ensure that processes are improved through efficient operations and ensure a safe, effective and timely airport operation in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements. Set KPI and service level agreement for the baggage handling operations and the operations of PLB and all Bridge Mounted Equipment, Fixed GPU and Fixed PCA. Be the Champion for One Team value and promote teamwork and cooperation with stakeholder for the highest level of Customer Satisfaction. Ensure that processes are improved through efficient operations and ensure a safe, effective and timely airport operations in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

About you:

Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level or equivalent. Minimum 8 years relevant experience in aviation industry. Relevant experience in the operations of 10,000 BPH or larger BHS with inline HBSS and automatic sortation system. Relevant experience in 24x7 Airport Operations Control Center.
Relevant experience in the operations of PLB, 400Hz, and PCA.
