Position Summary - Management Lecturer
The Management Lecturer is responsible for teaching and supervising students at the higher secondary and undergraduate levels. The role includes full responsibility for course design, curriculum delivery, assessment, and academic supervision. The lecturer will also contribute to departmental administration and institutional activities as directed by the Head of Department.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline
Strong and demonstrable teaching record in management or business-related subjects
Experience in supervising student projects, case studies, and presentations
Active involvement in academic, professional, or community-based initiatives
Industry exposure or practical management experience will be an added advantage
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver management and business-related courses in accordance with approved academic standards
Design and implement effective lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities
Evaluate and monitor student performance, providing timely academic feedback and guidance
Develop students' managerial, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
Motivate and mentor students to achieve academic and professional growth
Incorporate contemporary management practices, case studies, and real-world applications into teaching
Maintain professional and supportive relationships conducive to effective learning
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic planning
Carry out additional academic or administrative responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
Strong subject knowledge in Management and Business Studies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to supervise, mentor, and guide student academic work
Capability to provide academic advising and career-oriented guidance
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary and diverse academic team
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching platforms
