Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality, individualized care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex medical cases and be proficient in performing advanced nursing care procedures, such as tracheostomy care, PEG tube care, catheter care, home ventilator management, wound care, nasogastric tube care, and peritoneal dialysis. The nurse will work directly with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes and maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities and managing chronic or complex conditions. Perform specialized nursing procedures such as tracheostomy care, PEG tube care, catheter care, home ventilator management, wound care, nasogastric tube care, and peritoneal dialysis. Monitor patients' health status, vital signs, and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Provide education and support to patients and their families about managing conditions and performing necessary medical tasks at home. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any changes in condition. Communicate regularly with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when necessary. Ensure infection control protocols are followed. Assist with any other medical needs or complications as required by the patient's condition. Maintain the confidentiality and dignity of patients at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter as a Registered Nurse.

Fluency in Hindi and English

(both spoken and written) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing, with at least 1 year of experience in home care or critical care nursing. Specialized skills and knowledge in the management of complex medical procedures (tracheostomy care, PEG tube care, catheter care, ventilator management, wound care, NG tube, peritoneal dialysis). Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and positioning patients. Ability to work flexible hours, including up to 12-hour shifts, and on weekends if necessary. CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications in specialty areas preferred. Knowledge of medical equipment and technology used in home care settings.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with pediatric or geriatric patient care. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to train and educate family members on providing care at home.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry obese patients Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to perform patient lifting and transfer tasks, with or without assistance.

Work Schedule:

Flexible hours with the potential to work up to 12-hour shifts. Ability to provide care during weekends, holidays, or as needed.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
