Job Description

:

The Cleaner will ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and maintenance of the assigned area by performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and pleasant environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and an understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in hallways, offices, rooms, and other areas. Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, windowsills, and fixtures. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Clean kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including stairways, elevators, and hallways.

Specialized Cleaning:

Clean carpets and upholstery using specialized equipment as required. Wash windows and glass surfaces inside and outside the building. Ensure proper sanitization of high-touch surfaces, such as door handles and light switches. Carry out deep cleaning tasks as requested, such as carpet cleaning or cleaning ventilation systems.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring that stocks are replenished as necessary. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment and arrange for repairs. Ensure cleaning products are used safely and according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Health and Safety:

Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Use protective gear, such as gloves and masks, when handling chemicals or cleaning areas with hazardous materials. Adhere to infection control procedures, especially in environments like hospitals or schools.

Other Duties:

Assist with setup and cleanup for events or meetings if required. Report any maintenance issues or damage to property to the appropriate personnel. Provide support for additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not required. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods). Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Working Conditions:

May require early morning, evening, or weekend shifts depending on the location. May need to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Experience:

At least two years of experience as a cleaner in UAE.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,100.00 per month
