Job Title Male Class Teacher
Description
- Make Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for Students of Determination.
- Develop lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives specific for teaching SEN (Special Education Needs).
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
- Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.
- Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems.
- Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences to maintain and improve professional competence.
- Male candidates only
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology or a Bachelor's degree in a related subject with PGCE or teaching qualification; Master's would be an advantage (Attested by MOFA)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant education experience; Working and teaching with students of determination is required
- With a Certificate of Equivalency from MOE UAE is preferred
- Good communication and writing skills in English; With IELTS overall band score of 6.0 or higher is desirable
- Willing to move or relocate to Abu Dhabi (Centre is located at MBZ City)
- Can join immediately
A valid 72 hour negative PCR result from AlHosn app is required to enter the school premises. All applicants must be vaccinated. Experience:
- teaching SEN students: 2 years (Required)
- Certificate of Equivalency from MOE UAE (Preferred)
